Israel Defense Minister Yoav Gallant conveyed a strong message regarding the fate of Hamas in southern Gaza, stating that it would be more severe than their experiences in the northern part of the region. Speaking to the media at the border of northern Gaza, Gallant asserted that Israeli troops would remain in the northern area until the complete destruction of the entire Hamas infrastructure.
Gallant emphasized the determination to move forces into southern Gaza with the objective of targeting and eliminating Hamas commanders and other senior leaders. He commended the Army Chief for managing the forces effectively and with great success.
The Defense Minister expressed the Israeli Defense Forces' (IDF) commitment to eradicating Hamas and ensuring the safe return of hostages who were taken captive by Hamas on October 7. The statements underscore the seriousness of Israel's military operations against Hamas and the resolve to address security concerns in the region.
