The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a stern warning to the Shejaya Battalion of Hamas on Sunday, urging them to surrender or face consequences similar to Wissam Farhat, the battalion's slain commander.
In a final notice, IDF Spokesperson Lt Col Avichay Adraee declared, "This is a final notice, you are all targets," as he shared photographs of the battalion's commander. The battalion was operating from the Shejaya neighborhood in northern Gaza.
The IDF reported that members of Hamas have already been eliminated by the 7th Armoured Brigade of the army. Additionally, the IDF claimed the destruction of several Hamas naval installations, including vessels and armed war centers. The situation remains tense in the region as military actions unfold.
