Former president of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai asks Pakistan PM Imran Khan to 'stop speaking on behalf of Afghans'

Now Imran khan showed concerns for the situation of Afghanistan and in his address at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation asked the world to act timely in Afghanistan matter. As a counterpart former Afghan President Karzai asked Pak PM to stop speaking on behalf of Afghans. As soon as Taliban seized power in Afghanistan, many countries stopped funding the country, which has now led to massive economic crisis in the country.

On August 15 2021, Taliban took over Afghanistan which led to US, NATO forces and President Ashraf Ghani to leave the country. This marked the end of 20 years development. Taliban got the charge of Afghanistan after two decades, and atrocities followed by the Taliban rule came into effect. This time it was a 'new Taliban' that promised prosperity and safety of all the citizens, to be followed on the lines of Sharia law. In the meantime, the theory of good and bad Taliban made the headlines while killing of innocents was also evident. Hoping all good from the 'good Taliban', Pakistan PM Imran Khan congratulated Afghanistan and said  Afghanistan has broken 'shackles of slavery'. 1. On Sunday, Prime Minister Imran Khan, in his address at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed his concerns and warned the world that Afghanistan could potentially become the 'biggest man-made crisis' if the world will not act in a timely manner. As per the media reports, he said, "If the world doesn't act, this will be the biggest man-made crisis which is unfolding in front of us” . He further talked about the collapse of education, health and medical sectors in Afghanistan.

2. At the 17th Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of OIC, Khan also pointed out that Pakistan faced threat from Islamic State in Afghanistan. He also added that, the only way to handle the terror outfit is a stable Afghanistan.

3. To counter all the 'concerns' of Pak PM, Former Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai asked PM Imran Khan to abstain from propaganda and to stop speaking on behalf of the Afghans. He took to the twitter and said, "Pakistan's threat from Afghanistan is a clear propaganda infact, the issue is quite the opposite and the ISIS threat is directed from Pakistan to Afghanistan," he said. He further advised Khan to restrict himself from propaganda and called the matter "our internal affairs". Regarding the statement that Pakistan faced threat from Islamic state in Afghanistan, Karzai said, that IS has threatened Afghanistan from Pakistan.

4. Another Islamic country, Turkey  shared its views on Afghanistan and said,"working with the Taliban is necessary" to achieve stability.
