He reiterated that there is no room for anti-Semitic behavior or hate speech on any American campus or any corner of the country, as he declared, "There's no room for such bigotry or threats of violence in our society."

While some pro-Palestine demonstrations in US schools reacted to anger in the policy of Joe Biden in the Middle East, the President has increasingly called out Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's actions in the Gaza conflict.

During his speech, Biden also reiterated the lessons of history: "over 1,200 lives lost in Israel" in militant attacks on October 7th, a reason for the conflict.

Biden further condemned the denial of the Holocaust and the downplaying of the events of October 7th, citing the "heinous use of sexual violence by Hamas to terrorize."
