Some leading Baloch political figures and authors, such as Mir Yar Baloch, have critically blamed Pakistan for running terror organizations and perpetrating turmoil in the bordering nations, mainly India.
In a Friday message to the international community, Mir Yar Baloch alleged that Pakistan's military has created many terror operations that have inflicted great damage to India. He cited attacks on India's Parliament, hotels, passenger aircraft, and tourist destinations such as Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir as examples of these sustained attacks.
India, being a peaceful and civilized nation and defender of human rights and human dignity, has the inalienable right to defend its people. Reacting to the brutal Pahalgam attack by Pakistan, India is going after the locations in Pakistan from where extremist forces, with complete oversight and backup of its army and deep state, operate, train, and are stationed," Mir Yar Baloch said.
He also reiterated, "It is now a moral imperative for the international community to stand with India, recognizing the courageous decision made by its government, which has the wholehearted backing of its 1.4 billion citizens and a broad consensus from both the houses of Parliament."
Mir also highlighted that India was justified in doing what it had done in seeking permanent peace and security. Mir called upon the international community to rally behind India's Operation Sindoor to render justice to terror victims, specifically the widows and innocent souls who lost their loved ones.
"Dear world, India is not alone in this battle. The Baloch, Pashtun, Sindhi, and Kashmiri nations, who have suffered at the hands of Pakistan's repressive army for over seven decades, stand with India in its struggle against Pakistan's terror network and its enablers," he further added.
Tara Chand, erstwhile Cabinet Minister in Balochistan Government and President of the Baloch American Congress, also expressed solidarity with India's strong retaliatory action against Pakistan's terror infrastructure after the April 22 Pahalgam killing.
Prime Minister Modi, I wish to affirm my solidarity with the recent action against terrorism by going into Pakistan. But let us also remember that Pakistan has been giving refuge to many such terrorists. Pakistan will continue to pose problems for India until what is happening in Balochistan is dealt with," Chand posted on X.
He also proposed, "It's time to consider a strategic move towards the region of Balochistan's freedom, similar to how Indira Gandhi was instrumental in the formation of Bangladesh. The people of Balochistan are standing with India at the moment."
These remarks have been made after India launched Operation Sindoor against nine high-target terror locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to retaliate against the April 22 terror strike that killed 26 civilians.
Hostilities between India and Pakistan have mounted after Pakistan's missile and drone attacks on civilian installations and military camps in Jammu, Pathankot, Udhampur, and other places, which were successfully thwarted by Indian defense.
Baloch activists have also indicted Pakistan for its hypocrisy, where the nation talks about human rights for terrorists while depriving oppressed Baloch, Pashtun, and Sindhi people of their rights.
The sight of a state grieving for slain terrorists, while Baloch mothers still look for their missing sons, is a painful paradox. It exposes a bitter truth — Pakistan cares more about the lives of terrorists than its own miserable people. A country that mourns dead terrorists but keeps mum about the innocent lives lost in Balochistan is a country that has lost its moral compass," a Baloch activist said.
