Arab League, Egypt, and Jordan Express Outrage Over Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza Refugee Camp

The Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip has sparked strong condemnation from various quarters, including the Arab League (AL), Egypt, and Jordan.

AL Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit expressed his strong condemnation of the deadly airstrike, labeling it as "a new crime" in Gaza. He emphasized the urgent need for the international community to break its silence on the matter, highlighting the severity of the situation.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry also issued a statement, characterizing the attack as a "flagrant violation of international laws." Egypt's government is clearly denouncing this act of violence and asserting the breach of international norms.

Furthermore, Jordan's Foreign Ministry joined in the condemnation of the attack, holding Israel responsible for the dangerous escalation. Jordan voiced its concern not only about the Gaza airstrike but also about the increasing tensions in the West Bank and the growing number of attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian civilians. The ministry urged the international community to step in, bring an end to the ongoing conflict, and ensure the international protection of Palestinians.

The Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp resulted in a significant loss of life and injury. The Gaza-based Health Ministry reported over 50 fatalities, approximately 150 people injured, and several others trapped under the rubble. The situation underscores the urgency of addressing the ongoing conflict and protecting the affected Palestinian population.
