Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has declared a resolute commitment to bring all perpetrators of the October 7, 2023, attack to justice. In a statement released late Wednesday, Gallant affirmed, "Every individual involved in the October 7 tragedy will face justice. Whether through elimination or trial in Israel, we will ensure accountability."
He emphasized the pursuit of justice without refuge, stating, "There will be no sanctuary, be it in Gaza, abroad, or any Middle Eastern nation. We will assertively confront them."
Gallant's declaration follows his recent visit to the Gaza Strip, signaling heightened efforts by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to apprehend senior Hamas figures, particularly Mohammed Deif and Yahya Sinwar, alleged orchestrators of the October 7 assaults.
These remarks coincide with reports suggesting the presence of several senior Hamas leaders, including Ismael Haniyeh and Khalid Mashel, in Qatar.
