Ukraine is no longer seeking NATO membership: President Zelensky

“I have cooled down regarding this question a long time ago after we understood that ... NATO is not prepared to accept Ukraine… The alliance is afraid of controversial things, and confrontation with Russia,” Zelensky said. Referring to an ever-elusive NATO membership, President Zelensky said that he does not want to lead a country which has to beg on “its knees” it.    
UK Foreign Secretary on diplomatic visit to Washington to discuss Ukraine

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss will hold talks in the US on Wednesday with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, as well as members of the Congress. The topic of her discussions will "be what more the UK and the US can do to support Ukraine on security, intelligence and humanitarian issues," her office said.

Sumy evacuation completed successfully: Ukraine

Both evacuation stages from Ukraine's north-eastern city of Sumy have now been successfully completed, Ukrainian capital city Kiev said. On his Telegram account early Wednesday, Tymoshenko posted footage of people arriving at a railway station during night. He provided no further details. The video has not been independently verified.

But its words were exposed as a 'cynical stunt' when it emerged some of the routes would lead Ukrainians straight to Russia. The plan was dismissed as 'immoral and unacceptable' by Ukraine and as 'nonsense' by Britain's Europe minister, James Cleverly, Daily Mail reported.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday said that conscripts and reservists "do not and will not" participate in Moscow's ongoing war in Ukraine. In a video put out by the Kremlin on the occasion of International Women's Day, the President emphasized that "soldiers who are doing military service do not and will not participate in hostilities. There will be no additional call-up of reservists from the reserve.
