Musk opens hardcore litigation department at Tesla to fight lawsuits

In a tweet, Musk said: "Tesla is building a hardcore litigation department where we directly initiate & execute lawsuits. The team will report directly to me. Please send 3 to 5 bullet points describing evidence of exceptional ability at [email protected]". The move came as more women filed separate lawsuits in December last year against electric car-maker in the US for rampant sexually harassment, as Musk was accused of tweeting "lewd comment about women's bodies or a taunt toward employees who report misconduct".

The tweet comes after the Tesla CEO wrote on the platform that he will now vote for Republicans, as conservatives return to the micro-blogging platform. "The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens -- this is their standard (despicable) playbook -- but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech," Musk wrote on Twitter.
Twitter's new policy to hide tweets with false information during crisis

The company said that during periods of crisis access to credible, authoritative information and services is even more important. "We are introducing our crisis misinformation policy -- a global policy that will guide our efforts to elevate credible, authoritative information, and will help to ensure viral misinformation isn't amplified or recommended by us during crises," the company said in a blogpost.
Twitter rolls out ability for creators to host Super Follows-only Spaces

The social media giant said this new option will give creators a way to "offer an extra layer of conversation to their biggest supporters," reports TechCrunch. Subscribers globally on iOS and Android will be able to join and request to speak in Super Follows-only Spaces, whereas subscribers on Twitter's web platform can join and listen, but will not have the option to request to speak.

He tweeted: "To find out, my team will do a random sample of 100 followers of @twitter. I invite others to repeat the same process and see what they discover".
