After the billionaire signed a deal to buy Twitter, everyone has got  inquisitive to know what changes Musk would like to bring on Twitter. At the event, Musk said: "Twitter is sort of niche, and I want a much bigger percentage of the country to be on it, engaging in dialogue," news agency Reuters reported.

The micro-blogging platform permanently suspended their accounts shortly after the duo rejoined it with creating new Twitter handles, for violating platform rules against evading bans, reports The Verge. Lindell was banned last year while Zelenko was banned in 2020. Lindell was originally suspended for violating Twitter's rules against election misinformation.

According to Twitter auditing tool SparkToro, of Musk's 87.9 million followers (at the time of the research audit), roughly 48 per cent are fake, reports Time. These are the accounts that are "unreachable and will not see the account's tweets because they're spam, bots, propaganda, etc. or because they're no longer active on Twitter". Musk currently has nearly 90 million followers on Twitter.

Meanwhile, a report by Time said that Musk's follower count has been significantly boosted by fake accounts. According to audience research tool SparkToro, Musk has nearly 7 per cent more fake followers than the median 41 per cent that accounts with similar sized followings have.

Jack Dorsey is now Block's Head, drops CEO title

Dorsey co-founded Square in 2009, and the company changed its name to Block in December. According to The Verge, the company filed an 8-K with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announcing the change, and of course, the new title came into effect on 4/20. Despite the new title, the Twitter co-founder's job at Block will ultimately remain the same: there will be "no changes in Dorsey's roles and responsibilities, and he will continue to serve as principal executive officer of the Company".

The possible feature was first spotted by Jane Manchun Wong, a researcher and reverse engineer with a track record of spoiling upcoming app updates, reports The Verge. Screenshots shared by Wong show a "Set a status" field above the tweet composer box. A dropdown list has five pre-set vibes, none of which sound that fun, including "shopping grocery" and "driving highway".
