Mihir, 24, is the son of Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah. He had been at large after fleeing the scene of the crime an early morning hit-and-run in Worli. Inebriated, he rammed into a scooter carrying Pradip Nakhwa, 50, and his wife Kaveri, 45, returning home from Sassoon Dock. The impact killed Kaveri, who was dragged more than 100 meters, while Pradip escaped with injuries.
