Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Priyanka posted a video of the Parliament proceedings and wrote: "Rahul Gandhi is being attacked because of these questions. When the public servant elected by the people raised questions on their behalf, the Adani-servant conspired to suppress his voice." She added that the Modi government would have to be answerable to the people.

The idea of setting up an election management team was mooted during talks with political strategist Prashant Kishor and it was said that PK may get the coveted post but the things did not materialise. Sources close to Priyanka Gandhi denied such a move saying it's entirely the call of the party president. Priyanka Gandhi is General Secretary Incharge of UP where the party has only one MP and two MLAs and the major challenge lies in the 2024 general election.

It remains to be seen who from Kerala makes it to the top decision-making body of the party, and more importantly whether things continue to be the same in the state -- a disjointed, internally fighting unit of the party. It is being hoped that election is held to the CWC as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has already expressed the desire, but the steering committee is.

Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are expected to land in the state capital in the afternoon. Sources said that this is to give a clear signal that Kharge is in full command and they do not want to give the message that decisions in the party are not done under the influence of the Gandhis. Sources indicate that the meeting may decide on whether elections.

Jitendra Singh's daughter Manavika got married to Avijit Singh, a member of the former royal family of Pali, on Wednesday night. In view of the ceremony, police security was increased outside the Circuit House, helipad and the wedding venue Phool Bagh. Prominent guests from India and abroad reached Alwar for the royal wedding. A helipad was prepared at Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Addressing a women's convention -- 'Na Nayaki' -- here on Monday, Priyanka said that she was told that the situation is shameful in Karnataka. "Crime against women is high and 40 cases of such crime are taking place every day. The government is also creating controversy in the school syllabus," she said.

The party has erected huge and tall cutouts and banners across Bengaluru to welcome Priyanka Gandhi. The leaders are hoping that they will get the momentum with this convention for women, named as 'Na Nayaki (I am the leader)'.

Uttar Pradesh Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh has now questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's public display of affection for his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and asked, "Which Pandava kisses his sister at the age of 50 in a public gathering?" The Gandhi siblings were seen bonding on the stage during the Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'. Singh's barb comes after Rahul Gandhi equated the RSS to "21st century Kauravas".
