Incidentally a man is seen pushing them both down and now reports have come that it was the Left Democratic Front convenor E.P. Jayarajan, who was the Industries Minister in the first Vijayan cabinet. Reports now say that there were three Youth Congress workers who had booked to travel on the same flight and seeing them, local policemen stopped them for questioning and as they said they were going with a cancer patient, they were allowed to proceed.

Speaking to the media in Delhi on Wednesday for the first time after getting a third and final term in the post, Yechury asked how a green signal can be given to "a train which is yet to arrive". Yechury's tone and tenor on K-Rail contradicted his position when he was attending the Congress. At Kannur he had said Kerala needs such a project, but in Delhi he gave a different statement.

With the CPI-M presently having a presence only in Kerala, Vijayan knows that this is the best time to consolidate his position, and after doing it in Kochi by getting all his closest aides in key posts, he has literally stamped his authority.
Its generation change in Kerala CPI-M as veterans get replaced by youngsters

The 23rd edition of the CPI-M's state party conference on Friday decided to go for a generational shift with the induction of more youngsters as party state officer-bearers by replacing all those members, except Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who are aged above 75 years.
