Amit Malviya, BJP’s Information Technology Cell Chief and the party’s Central Observer for West Bengal took to social media to mock certain names included in the list.

Among those omitted are Sisir Adhikari, representing the Kanthi constituency, and Dibyendu Adhikari, from Tamluk, both of whom share familial ties with Suvendu Adhikari, the current Leader of the Opposition.

Among the notable mentions, Abhishek Banerjee himself will vie for victory from the Diamond Harbour constituency, solidifying his commitment to the party's cause.

In a gathering organized by the BJP in Sandeshkhali, alongside BJP State President Sukanta Majumdar, Adhikari emphasized the significance of Sandeshkhali, stating that it has the potential to significantly influence the outcome of the entire Lok Sabha election. He projected an expectation of securing a lead of at least one lakh votes from Sandeshkhali alone.

This alliance was formalized following extensive discussions involving Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP Chief J P Nadda, Naidu, actor Pawan Kalyan who leads the Jana Sena Party (JSP), among others. A joint statement issued by the three parties highlighted their commitment to contesting the elections together under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom they hailed for his dynamic and visionary approach towards national progress and the welfare of Andhra Pradesh.
