Ola Electric Sells Over 8,000 E-scooters to Parent Firm by December 2023: Report

According to an Ola Electric spokesperson, 8,206 Ola Electric scooters have been registered under ANI Technologies for its e-bike, parcel, and other delivery services. The report suggests that the number of e-scooters sold to Ola Cabs' parent and its subsidiaries between April 2022 and December 2023 was even higher, around 12,000 units.

Ola has sold more than the entire 2-wheeler industry put together on Wednesday, Agarwal said. He further stated that the last bookings for the new scooters are opened till Thursday midnight following which the sale will be closed. Ola Electric is the all-electric branch of the indigenous rideshare company Ola Cabs based in Bangalore.
