Ola Electric, spearheaded by Bhavish Aggarwal, unveiled revised pricing details for its S1 X line-up of electric scooters along with updates on delivery schedules.
The S1 X series, featuring three battery options of 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh, will now be offered at Rs 69,999 (as an introductory offer), Rs 84,999, and Rs 99,999, respectively. Deliveries are slated to commence from the upcoming week.
Addressing the issue of high initial costs hindering electric vehicle (EV) adoption, an Ola spokesperson emphasized the company's commitment to making EVs more accessible with the revamped pricing strategy. By offering a diverse product range spanning various price brackets, they aim to further boost EV adoption nationwide.
Furthermore, Ola announced revised prices for its S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X models, priced at Rs 1,29,999, Rs 1,04,999, and Rs 84,999, respectively.
The S1 X range boasts IDC-certified ranges of 190 km, 143 km, and 95 km for the 4 kWh, 3 kWh, and 2 kWh variants, respectively.
Powered by a robust 6 kW motor, the scooter delivers swift acceleration, achieving 0-40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 90 km/h in the 4 kWh and 3 kWh models, and 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 85 km/h for the 2 kWh variant, according to the company's specifications.
Equipped with three distinct riding modes - Eco, Normal, and Sports - riders can seamlessly toggle between them to suit their preferences and riding conditions.
