The NEET UG 2022 candidates can avail the facility from June 14 to June 16 (till 9 pm). Candidates can visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in, with their credentials, and make the required changes. "In continuation of the Public Notice dated 24 May 2022, it has been decided to provide another opportunity to the candidates to correct/change their Category themselves in their respective Online Application Forms for NEET (UG) – 2022," the NTA said in a statement.

The DGHS said since the software is closed, further rounds of counselling could not be conducted to fill up the medical seats. The DGHS in an affidavit, submitted the software, which was used for online counselling of NEET-PG 2021, is closed and refund of security deposit for participating in PG counselling has been initiated. It added that NEET-PG 2021 counselling was delayed due to third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

A vacation bench comprising Justices M.R. Shah and Aniruddha Bose asked the advocate representing the petitioners to serve a copy of the petition to the respondents -- Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), National Board of Examination, and the Centre. The top court has scheduled the matter for further hearing on June 8.

The result of the National Eligibility Entrance Test-PG (NEET-PG) has been declared, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced on Wednesday evening. He congratulated students who qualified in the exam. "NEET-PG result is out, congratulate all the students who have qualified for NEET-PG with flying colours. "I appreciate @NBEMS_INDIA for their commendable job of declaring the results in record 10 days, much ahead of the schedule," he said in a tweet.

“All candidates desirous of appearing in NEET SS 2022 are hereby informed that the dates for conducting NEET-SS 2022 are being revised. The new dates for the conduct of NEET-SS 2022 shall be notified in due course,” the NBEMS said in the notice. Along with the application form, the authorities will also release the NEET SS 2022 information bulletin mentioning the important details related to the test.

“In view of the numerous representations received from the candidates regarding allowing them to edit/modify their particulars in the online application form of NEET (UG) – 2022, National Testing Agency has decided to provide an opportunity to the candidates for modifying their particulars in the online application form of NEET (UG) – 2022,” NTA on the official notice said.

The exam is scheduled to be held on May 21, 2022. NEET PG Admit Card 2022 was earlier scheduled to be released on May 16, 2022."NEET PG admit cards are available." Interested candidates can apply for the medical entrance exam on neet.nta.nic.in . The deadline has been extended in response to the Director-General of the Armed Forces Medical Services’ request (AFMS). Previously the deadline was extended too, from May 6, 2022 to May 15, 2022.  The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted in around 543 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.  

The apex court said that the delay would cause the unavailability of doctors and seriously affect patient care.  “There are two categories of students -- one which is seeking postponement and the larger category of over two lakh six thousand candidates -- who would be affected by the postponement after having prepared for the examination", the bench said.

The entrance examination was held on May 2 in CBT(Computer Based Mode). After the results are announced the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET MDS 2022 counseling for the allotment of the dental seats.
