The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) on May 7, 2023, from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The NEET-UG will be conducted through pen-and-paper mode in 13 languages.
NEET is organized for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. NEET scores will also be used for aspirants of the Military Nursing Scheme (MNS) seeking admission to the BSc Nursing course, which is conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals. The NEET UG 2023 would help students to get admission to medical institutes across the country, and the exam would be held in Indian cities and abroad. The results will be released on the official website of NEET UG.
NEET(UG) 2023: Qualifying Criteria
Applicants who are appearing in the qualifying exam after class 12th can take the NEET examination, but they would not be eligible for admission to undergraduate courses if the qualifying pass percentage is not met at the time of the first round of counseling.
Applicants who have completed 12th class from an open school or are private applicants would not be allowed to sit for the NEET examination.

The Intermediate exam in science with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English is compulsory.
BSc exam from an Indian University is provided that the applicants have cleared the exam in at least 2 subjects consisting of physics, chemistry, biology (botany/zoology). The applicants have also passed the earlier qualifying exams with physics, chemistry, biology, and English.
Tie-Breaking Criteria for Same Score Applicants
In any case, 2 or more applicants have scored the same marks in the NEET UG 2023, the following tie-breaking criteria would be used:
Applicants who have secured higher marks or percent in biology (botany/zoology).
Applicants who have secured higher marks in chemistry.
Candidates who have earned higher marks in physics.
Applicants who have fewer incorrect answers than correct answers in every subject.
Applicants who have the lowest proportion of incorrect responses to correct responses in biology (botany/zoology).
Applicants who have the lowest ratio of incorrect answers in chemistry to correct answers.
Applicants who have a lesser percentage of attempting incorrect answers in physics.
