"The ability to create multiple personal profiles is starting to roll out globally today and will continue over the next few months," Meta said in a blogpost on Thursday.

The tech giant sent an email to existing game owners, informing them that support for the three games will be discontinued on March 15, 2024, reports The Verge.

Reacting to a Financial Times report which claimed that Meta teams were exploring ads in WhatsApp as the social network “seeks revenue boost, saying “discussions are at an early stage and include possible subscription fee”.

Threads users will be able to post, view their feed, and interact with posts from the desktop, according to the social media platform.

According to The Information, citing sources, Meta's code-generating artificial intelligence (AI) model -- 'Code Llama', will be open-source and could launch as soon as next week.

Users can access this feature by going to Settings > Your Likes. In addition to the ability to view liked posts, Meta has also included a new media upload quality option that allows users to upload higher-quality photos and videos. This option can be found under Settings > Account > Media quality.
