The escalation began in the wee hours of the night of 7-8 May when Pakistan attempted to hit numerous military objectives along Northern and Western India. These were high-technology positions including Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj by using missiles and drones during the attack.
