Announcing the development on Telegram, the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces revealed that Russia deployed 75 kamikaze drones, specifically Shahed-131 and Shahed-136 models, with the majority directed at the capital, Kiev. 

This state-of-the-art facility is geared towards delivering top-notch training to F-16 pilots hailing from Romania and its allied nations, with a notable inclusion being Ukraine.

Out of the sum, $18.66 billion was used to pay salaries for military personnel, and some $9.55 billion to purchase military equipment, armor, ammunition, and other defence industry products, Xinhua news agency quoted Shmyhal as saying.

"Under the optimistic scenario, I think, it will be the first half of next year," Kuleba said on Thursday. Kuleba further said that the F-16 jets will be delivered to Ukraine after Ukrainian pilots complete the training courses and appropriate infrastructure is arranged, Xinhua news agency reported, citing the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.

The presidential decree, which put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defence Council, stipulates that Ukraine's defense spending next year will reach no less than $46 billion, rpeorts Xinhua news agency citing local media.

“It’s obvious that the United States would stand against Chinese aggression on the Line of Control (LAC) far more than Russia or Putin would, & that we really need to press India to not be as dependent on Russian defensively and to be willing to condemn Putin's aggression in Ukraine, just like we would condemn Chinese aggression beyond the Line of Control (LAC),” said Ro Khanna

While most of the European Union was united in enforcing package after package of harsh sanctions on Russia, slashing trade and imports, especially of fuels - despite some concerns in some members over the economic impact, supplying aid and arms to Ukraine, and welcoming new members to NATO, there was a major outlier or two.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky put his finger on the problem: "The veto in the hands of the aggressor is what drove the UN into a dead end." 

However poorly the Ukraine war has gone for Russia, which expected a swift victory, the new turn of events is playing right into Putin’s plans, CNN reported.

The security aid -- which stands cumulatively $43.9 billion since the start of the war in February 2022 -- is in danger.
