Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, had flatly denied reports suggesting changes to backward class reservations under his Congress government. The allegations, he said, are baseless and went on to explain that the inclusion of Muslims in the backward class reservation dates back to the L.G. Havanur Commission Report of 1974.

Adityanath, speaking at a political rally in Mainpuri earlier in the day, expressed, "I feel pity for helpless Shivpal. He is like a person who hears the katha of satyanarayan and then eats churan distributed there."

Highlighting the intentions of his opponents, PM Modi emphasized that certain political factions, including the Congress, SP, and the INDIA bloc, were seeking votes to appease specific sections of their voter base, thereby threatening the rights of others. He particularly singled out the Samajwadi Party, characterizing it as a party centered around familial interests rather than the welfare of the broader populace.

During a series of election rallies in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi revealed what he termed an “interesting fact” for the nation. He recounted, “When Mrs. Indira Gandhi passed away, her property was supposed to go to her children. Had the previous law been in place, the government would have taken a portion of it. At that time, there was a talk that to save the property, her son and then Prime Minister (Rajiv Gandhi) simply abolished the inheritance law. When it came to their own interests, they removed the law,” said Prime Minister Modi.

In an interview to the journalists, Pathak invited an analogical comparison of the electoral contest with a cricket match of India with its surrounding countries. He assured that winning the seat would be India's matter regardless of the other contender. This implies Pathak's tremendous confidence that he would make it for the BJP ticket.

Attacking the Congress, PM Modi said, “We have asked our jawans to fire 10 bullets in response to one."

"The 'shehzada' of the Congress party is so worried these days that he enjoys insulting Modi every other day, saying one bad thing or the other. He keeps on saying things. I am seeing it on social media and TV that a lot of people are getting upset with what is being said against me and the language that is being used against the Prime Minister of the country," said PM Modi while addressing a public rally in Morena Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh's Chambal region.
