BMW launches two new models including EV

The BMW 740i M Sport is locally produced at BMW Group Plant, Chennai while the all-electric BMW i7 xDrive60 is available as a completely built-up unit (CBU), BMW India said. According to the company, the diesel variant will be introduced later. While bookings for the two models can be done at the dealerships, deliveries will begin in March 2023.
BMW Group India sold 19,263 vehicles in 2022

According to a statement issued by BMW India, a total of 11,981 cars (BMW and MINI) and 7,282 motorcycles were sold last year in India. The BMW Group had logged 37 per cent growth in the sales of BMW cars as compared to the same period last year by delivering 11,268 units.
BMW India to increase prices from April 2022

Luxury automobile manufacturer BMW India said it will increase prices by up to 3.5 per cent across its model range effective from April 1. The price increase will be brought into effect to adjust the material and logistics costs, impact of current geo-political situation and exchange rates. Earlier, another luxury carmaker, Mercedes-Benz India had announced an upward revision in price of its entire model range effective from April 1.
BMW Group India pledges Rs 8 cr to strengthen fight against Covid

The group will contribute an additional Rs 5 crore on top of the company's earlier commitment of Rs 3 crore. "BMW Group India's efforts are dedicated to augmenting healthcare infrastructure and medical services in Gurugram (Delhi NCR) and Chengalpattu (Tamil Nadu)," the group said in a statement.
