Luxury automobile manufacturer BMW unveiled the new ‘X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition’ in India on Thursday, pricing it at Rs 74,90,000 ex-showroom.
This special edition is available in a diesel variant at all BMW India showrooms as well as through online retailers.It is available in two metallic paint colors: Brooklyn Grey and Carbon Black.
BMW claims that the design of this new model, in particular, focuses on a sportier look. The Blacked Out Kidney Grille makes for the bold look at the front of the car. The BMW Laser Light, surrounded by iconic blue accents, gives it a very unique look and illuminates up to 650 meters.
Under the bonnet, the vehicle is powered by a two-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, generating an output of 140 kW/190 hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 1,750 – 2,500 rpm.
This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in 7.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 213 km/hr. Furthermore, BMW's Live Cockpit Professional operating on system 7.0 has 3D Navigation and a high-resolution 12.3" screen instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, coupled with a control display.
In terms of safety, the vehicle has six airbags, Antilock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer, crash sensor, and lots more.
