Ayushmann said, "I'm thrilled to be collaborating with Aanand sir for the third time and I hope our track record to entertain audiences worldwide with disruptive scripts continues with 'Action Hero'." He added: "I absolutely loved the script of Action Hero instantly. It's zany, it's fresh, it's disruptive and it has all the trappings of cinema that I have come to be known for."

Ayushmann posted two pictures on Instagram. In one image, he is seen holding a clapboard and flaunting his washboard abs. The second picture has his co-star Vaani Kapoor and director Abhishek Kapoor posing for the camera with him.

He said his film 'Dream Girl', which completes its second release anniversary on Monday, intended to do just this. Ayushmann said: "Consciously or unconsciously we are constantly conditioned to stereotype everything around us. Sometimes, we aren't even aware that we are either getting stereotyped or stereotyping others or, stereotyping ourselves."

"I try to tell stories that are essentially rooted in the Indian microcosm and are about real people and their real lives in our culturally diverse country," said the 36-year-old actor. He added: "I think that's why these stories have resonated with people not just in India but also with Indians who live abroad or with people who are interested to know more about our country."

Ayushmann said: "The internet, as we know, is a double-edged sword. We have seen its myriad benefits during this pandemic. At the same time, it has its own risks. As the internet grows further in its reach, the number of children at risk of online abuse like cyberbullying and online sexual exploitation, also increases." The actor added that it is important to equip children with knowledge.

Ayushmann said: "I'm lucky that I chose acting as my profession because it has not only enabled me to live so many remarkable characters but has also taken me to so many incredible destinations." The actor added that this is the first time in his career that he has shot in Bhopal. Ayushmann feels he is blessed to be born in a beautiful country like India.

"Kishore Kumar is not just a legend and an icon, he is an institution. He has always been a beacon of inspiration for me, his songs have given me my biggest learnings when I decided to pursue my passion for music and I'm in awe of the legacy he has left behind," Ayushmann said.

On Tuesday, the actor shared a video clip playing the tank drum on Instagram. He wrote of his love for the instrument and how it's a divine sound that calms the actor on the set of "DoctorG". He asked his followers to guess the tune he played on the drum

Sharing his excitement, Ayushmann wrote on his Instagram, "Doctor G is ready to leave. Now the shooting will begin! #DoctorG FirstLook". Ayushmann is shooting for "DoctorG" in Bhopal. Minutes after Ayushmann posted his first look, his Instagram flooded with comments from Bollywood. Ayushmann's wife Tahira Kashyap wrote, "Harry Potter".

"I follow a lot of incredible young poets, singers, performing artistes, dancers who are yet to burst onto the scene and I'm always awed by their talent. So, I try and use my social media to draw attention to these really fantastic artists who I feel are the future disruptors. The reason for doing so is rooted in my past," said Ayushmann. He has been doing this since 2019, and has used the pandemic to actively discover and endorse such talent.
