Google has announced that it will bring the Android 12L operating system to Samsung, Lenovo and Microsoft devices later this year. The new OS brings changes to the home screen, lock screen, notification shade, device set-up screens and settings. The changes are largely designed to give users more information on the screen.

Snapchat sharing for YouTube Music was enabled on iOS in October and now a new report has claimed that it is available on Android. The first indication that YouTube Music might be able to share songs to Instagram and Snapchat emerged in November of 2020, reports 9To5Google.

Tech giant Google is testing a darker dark mode for its Android search app, media reports say. The new shade still is not the same as the one presented in Google's test of a pitch-black dark mode on desktops last month, reports The Verge.

Users can now play Xbox Game Pass cloud titles using an on-screen controller, for a start. OneDrive also has an "enhanced" dual-screen interface for viewing and editing photos.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on an "import chat history" feature that will let Android users move their chats to an iPhone device. The feature was spotted in development in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS v22.2.74. Currently, it is not available to everyone at the moment. The voice note that users are listening to will not be dismissed when they swipe back or open a different chat.

The update, based on Android 12, fixes critical bugs and includes performance and stability improvements. The most notable fix addresses the mysterious Microsoft Teams bug that prevented users from making emergency calls.

According to Android Police, the screenshots show that one will get an option to enable "show QR scanner" on the lock screen. This feature is visible in the quick toggle settings. While Google might be planning to add this feature now, Samsung already offers this option.

This new feature is there to fix the hassle of browsing apps on the play store on a smart TV. Same Google account is the only condition you need to fulfill while using this feature. Also only those applications which are available on Android TV can be accessed using this feature
