The film is currently in the pre-production stage and will go on floors next month. It will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Mussoorie and London.

The film, third instalment of the 'Singham' franchise, was earlier supposed to release on Diwali 2024. But as per the new development, the film will now arrive in cinemas on August 15, 2024. The film will be directed by Rohit Shetty who has earlier helmed the two films from the franchise. 'Singham Again' will go to floors in August 2023.

The actor has shared that Ajay as a director uses minimum instructions yet brings out the best performance from his actors. In the film, he portrays a student who is caught by police for making nuisance with his friends but eventually has to get involved in their fight against bad guys.

Tarun shared that he couldn't shave his face for 7-8 months because his character required him to look manly. Tarun, who is a Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) alum, told IANS: "Ajay sir placed his complete faith in me for the part, it was his vision. I maintained my bearded look for 7-8 months for the sake of continuity of my character since the character was supposed to be very alpha and manly."

Kajol took to Instagram, where she shared the picture with Ajay, who was seen smiling in as he posed alongside her. Kajol wrote: "The birthday boy finally gave me a return gift. He shared a candid picture with Ajay and tweeted: "Happy birthday, Ajay Devgan, my dear friend. Wishing you a super super successful year ahead Ajjjjjj!!. Stay blessed." The tweet is a reflection of the strong bond that the two actors share, which has only grown stronger over the years.

According to a statement, the film, which also stars Tabu and Deepak Dobriyal, collected Rs 11.20 crore on Thursday, Rs. 7.40 crore on Friday and on Saturday it minted Rs 12.10 crore making a total of Rs. 30.70 crore.

The decade from 1952 to 1962 is regarded as the 'Golden Era' of Indian football. The film follows the true story f Syed Abdul Rahim , the legendary football coach.

Ajay, who has delivered several hits in the 90s including 'Phool Aur Kaante', 'Jigar', 'Suhaag', 'Diljale', 'Pyar To Hona Hi Tha', 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', among others, made a comparison of that era from today, and said that certain times he used to be given idea about a particular scene without specific script.
