The sequel promises to be more intense with "double the drama and suspense," focusing on celebrating the "unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department."

The original 'Raid' was well-received by both audiences and critics, telling the story of a real-life income-tax raid on Indian industrialist Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s, recognized as the longest raid in Indian history. The film starred Ileana D'Cruz and Saurabh Shukla in key roles.
