Air quality in Delhi 'very poor'

The System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR) said the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital was 324 for PM10 and 200 for PM2.5. As PM10 went over 300, the Department has issued a health advisory asking people with heart or lung disease, older adults, and children to reduce prolonged or heavy exertion. The PM2.5 level was found to be under the 'very poor' category.
National capital Delhi's min temperature likely to dip to 9 degree celsius: IMD

The minimum temperature of National Capital Delhi this week is expected to drop to 9 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The maximum temperature for the day will be around 27 degrees and relative humidity at 8.30 a.m. was pegged at 82 per  cent.
Mercury drops to 10 degrees in Delhi; AQI 'very poor'

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature for the day will settle at 27 degrees Celsius, one degree more than Monday's 26.4 degrees. This week, the maximum temperature will fluctuate between 26 to 28 degrees and the minimum between 10 to 11 degrees, according to the IMD data. The relative humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 88 per cent.
Delhi's air quality improves at 318 AQI, likely to remain same for next few days

The city woke up to a misty Monday morning, with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover around 27 degrees 10 degrees Celsius respectively, the India Meteorological data (IMD) showed. The relative humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 90 per cent. As per IMD, the maximum temperature of the national capital on Sunday stood at 28.1 degrees and the minimum at 10.3 per cent.
Two journalists held for spreading hatred in Tripura

A Tripura police spokesman said the journalists -- Samriddhi K. Sakunia and Swarna Jha, have been detained by Nilam Bazaar police station of Karimganj district in Assam on the request of the Tripura police. A Tripura police team would to bring them to the state.

After moderate fog early in the morning, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the sky will remain clear for the remaining day.
Reports on vandalizing of mosque in Tripura fake: MHA

"News reports that have been circulating that a mosque in Kakraban area of Gomati district in Tripura has been damaged and vandalized. These news reports are fake and are a complete misrepresentation of facts," the MHA said. The mosque in Dargabazar area of Kakraban has not been damaged and the Tripura Police in Gomati district is working to maintain peace and tranquillity.

Delhi on Saturday observed a clear sky with shallow fog. The maximum and minimum temperatures for the day will be at 26 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees, respectively, as per IMD officials. The relative humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 90 per cent.

"It is likely to be in the upper end of 'very poor' to 'severe' category for the next two days," SAFAR added. Delhi's maximum and minimum temperature of the day will settle at 26 and 13 degrees Celsius, respectively, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).  
Tripura violence: SC agrees to hear plea by journalist, others booked under UAPA

Initially, a bench headed by Chief Justice N.V. Ramana asked advocate Prashant Bhushan, representing the petitioners, to move the concerned high court in the matter, but later agreed to it. Bhushan submitted before the bench also comprising Justices A. S. Bopanna and Hima Kohli that the petitioners are also challenging the constitutional validity of certain widely misused provisions of UAPA and the wide definition of 'unlawful activities'.
