The Lava AGNI 5G will be available on both online and offline stores from November 18. The demonstration took place in Bhaipur Bramanan village on the outskirts of Delhi-NCR using 5G trial spectrum allocated to Airtel by the Department of Telecom. The telecom major said that trial showcased the massive potential offered by 5G towards bridging the digital divide by enabling access to high speed broadband through solutions such as 'enhanced mobile broadband' (eMBB) and 'Fixed Wireless Access' (FWA) services.

The Narzo 30 5G debuted in June this year in a 6GB+128GB variant. Earlier this month, Realme also announced a new variant of the Narzo 30 4G. An expansion in home market and R&D investments could be the foundation of Huawei's survival plan, said market research firm Strategy Analytics. The report said that although the carrier business revenue also dropped in the first half of 2021, the aggressive 5G network expansion by Chinese carriers is expected to boost Huawei's performance in the next few years.

The new MediaTek Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810 will power 5G smartphones that are expected to launch in the global market in the third quarter this year. "Delivering a boost in performance, display intelligence and image brilliance, these new Dimensity chipsets will improve user experiences and deliver advanced 5G features and capabilities to 5G smartphones," Hsu added.
