CES to return as in-person event in Las Vegas in 2022

The CES organiser, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), said in a statement on Wednesday that the largest tech conference on the earth will be open for people in 2022. The CES 2022 will be organised from January 5-8, with the median days on January 3-4, reports The Verge.

Samsung's net profit stood at $6.4 billion in the January-March period, up 46.2 per cent from a year earlier, the world's largest memory chip and smartphone vendor said in a regulatory filing. Its operating profit jumped 45.5 per cent on-year to 9.38 trillion won in the first quarter of the year. Sales rose 18.2 per cent on-year to 65.38 trillion won, the largest-ever figure for any first quarter.

Apple to cut AirPods production due to decreasing sales: Report

The tech giant, which had initially planned to aim for 110 million units, now plans to produce only 75 to 85 million units of AirPods for the remainder of this year, MacRumors, citing Nikkei Asia, reported on Tuesday. Google Lens can now automatically translate screenshots

According to 9To5Google, users can now take a screenshot of a foreign language and let Google Lens do the translation without any intermediate step. The exciting new feature is available on the Google Lens Screenshot UI for devices running Android 11+. The translate button will become visible on the screenshot and a click on it will detect and translate the required text quickly.
