Twitter adds Covid vaccine prompt in users' timelines

The new prompt appears at the top of users' Twitter feeds for both iOS and Android users. "As COVID-19 vaccinations become more widely available, we want you to have access to the latest vaccine info in your country," Twitter said in a tweet on Monday. "This week you'll see a prompt in your timeline that links to sources about vaccine safety, efficacy, and news from public health experts," the company added.
Samsung launches new enterprise SSD with upgraded performance

The PM1653 is the industry's first 24G SAS SSD made with sixth-generation V-NAND memory chips, according to Samsung, with its storage capacity ranging from 800 gigabytes to 30.72 terabytes for enterprise server systems. SAS is a high-speed data transfer interface used for servers or storage devices for large computers. The latest 24G SAS, or the SAS-4 standard, can support twice the speed of the previous 12G SAS-3 generation.

Samsung to launch new budget phone in S Korea this week

Samsung Electronics said on Monday its Galaxy M12 budget smartphone will be sold in South Korea this week. The M12 will hit local shelves Wednesday through online sales channels at 198,000 won ($180), the company said. Google announces Rs 135 cr grant for Covid-hit India

The donation includes two grants from Google.org, Google's philanthropic arm, totalling Rs 20 crore. "The first is to GiveIndia to provide cash assistance to families hit hardest by the crisis to help with their everyday expenses. The second will go to UNICEF to help get urgent medical supplies, including oxygen and testing equipment, to where it's needed most in India," said Sanjay Gupta, Country Head and VP, India.
