Apple may not launch 11 inch iPad Pro with Mini LED display in 2022
Apple is expected to launch the next-generation iPad Pro and now a new report has claimed that the upcoming iPad will skip mini LED this year. According to GizmoChina, the 12.9 inch iPad Pro was the only tablet model to feature mini LED display technology. Since then, it was rumoured that additional iPad models will feature the new panels as well. The Cupertino based giant has no plans of bringing mini LED to a smaller form factor.
Galaxy Watch 5 may come with built-in thermometer
South Korean tech giant Samsung is reportedly planning to launch Galaxy Watch 5 with a thermometer to help users measure their body temperature. Samsung has developed new technology to resolve issues with existing temperature sensing tools. According to a latest news from South Korean publication ET News, the company will introduce the new function to help users detect symptoms of Covid-19 at home.
Twitter purges Russian Embassy's tweet mocking pregnant woman in Ukraine
Responding to a photo of the woman in the aftermath of Wednesday's attack, the Embassy had tweeted: "She has some very realistic make-up. She is also doing well with her beauty blogs. Plus she could not be in the maternity house at the time of the strike, as it has long been taken by the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion who told all the staff to clear the place." The micro-blogging platform immediately deleted the tweet.
Sony Music suspends all operations in Russia
"Sony Music Group calls for peace in Ukraine and an end to the violence. We have suspended operations in Russia and will continue our support of global humanitarian relief efforts to aid victims in need," the company said in a statement, reports variety.com. Sources tell Variety that the company's staffers will continue to receive their salaries for an undetermined time; the artists' situation is still being worked out.
Translation apps install grow 71% in Ukraine amid conflict
Ukrainians are in part turning to mobile devices to help where they can, and first-time downloads of the country's top translation apps have grown 71 per cent month-over-month, reports Sensor Tower. In the first nine days of March, the top 10 translation apps from across Ukraine's App Store and Google Play collectively saw 198,000 installs, up 71 per cent M/M from 116,000 in the first nine days of February. Google Translate led the cohort with approximately 58,000 installs.

Apple is reportedly planning to launch a series of Macs with M2 chips based on TSMC's 4nm process later this year. According to Mark Gurman, Apple has M2 versions of the 13-inch MacBook Pro, 24-inch iMac, and Mac mini in development.

Tinder users can now run in-app background checks on their matches
Dating app Tinder has announced that its users in the US can now run background checks in-app to screen their matches for possible violent or harmful past behaviour. The company said that Garbo's new online background check platform will be made available to the general public in the US and will also be launched to Tinder members via Tinder's Safety Center.

Instagram shuts down Boomerang, Hyperlapse standalone apps
