Apple iPad Air with M1 chipset launched in India
Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has unveiled the new iPad Air with an M1 chip with an 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU. The same chip is found on the iPad Pro models launched last year. The Wi-Fi models of iPad Air are available with a starting price of Rs 54900 and Wi-Fi + Cellular models start at Rs 68900. The new iPad Air, in 64GB and 256GB configurations.
Instagram hides followers for private accounts in Russia, Ukraine
Instagram has begun hiding information about people's followers, who they're following, and people who are following each other for private accounts in Russia and Ukraine to reduce the spread of misinformation. This means that people following private accounts based in Ukraine and Russia will no longer be able to see who those accounts are following, or who follows them.
Garmin India launches new Instinct 2 smartwatch series
Garmin India on Tuesday expanded its rugged and contemporary Instinct family smartwatch with new devices that carry features such as Kill Switch, Stealth Mode, Night Vision Goggle Compatibility, and many others. Instinct 2 remains built to military standard 810 for thermal and shock resistance and is water-rated to 100 metres. The Instinct series starts from Rs 33,990 and goes up to Rs 51,990 (solar tactical edition).
Google to acquire cyber-security firm Mandiant for $5.4 bn
Google on Tuesday announced to acquire leading cyber defense and response company Mandiant in an all-cash deal of $5.4 billion. Upon the close of the acquisition, Mandiant will join Google Cloud.The acquisition of Mandiant will complement Google Cloud's existing strengths in security, the company said in a statement.
Starlink satellites increased 49% in space in 2021: Report
Tech billionaire Elon Musk led SpaceX in 2021 launched 646 Starlink satellites, an increase of 48.9 per cent in its March 2021 satellite population of 1,322, according to a report. In the past 18 months, the space firm has grown its broadband satellites by 185 per cent, revealed data analysis by financial educational hub StockApps.com

Samsung on Tuesday unveiled its latest budget 5G smartphone, the Galaxy F23, in the Indian market. It's the first-ever Galaxy F series device to be powered by Snapdragon 750G 5G Mobile Platform and 120Hz FHD+ display. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers.
New iPad Air may come with Apple Silicon M1 processor
Apple is expected to unveil the new iPad Air on Tuesday and now a new report has claimed that the upcoming iPad Air may come with M1 Apple Silicon processor. According to Apple Insider, the "iPad Air 5" will be next in line to get Apple's M1 chip. The same chip also powers the current generation of iPad Pro, as well as Apple's first generation of Apple Silicon Macs, such as the 24-inch iMac, and the 2020 MacBook Air.

Google starts rolling out March 2022 Pixel update
Google has started rolling out a new update to its Pixel 6 and 6 Pro smartphones, which brings Live Sharing in Google Duo, expanded support for Live Caption and Live Translation among others. Now, when a user is on a call can see captions of what the other person on the call is saying and can type back a response that will be read out loud on the other end.One will have the option to type out a custom message or choose a pre-written response.

Twitter is trying to fully restore its services in Russia as users report "increasing difficulty" accessing its platform amid the Ukraine invasion and the country's growing restrictions on Big Tech. Twitter said it is investigating and working to restore full access for its users in the country. Twitter then did not see any significant change in its service in the country.
