To further accelerate industrial growth, the government has sanctioned the development of two electronic manufacturing clusters, one each in Bhopal and Jabalpur. At present, 85 companies are actively engaged in electronics production in the state, an indicator of the sector's fast growth.

To develop a highly skilled human resource, the government has also introduced a Future Skills Program to train 20,000 engineers in advanced technologies. In the past decade, India's electronics manufacturing sector has grown phenomenally, with a valuation of ₹10 lakh crore. India now exports electronics valued at ₹5 lakh crore, out of which ₹4 lakh crore comes from mobile phones, and the remaining includes laptops, servers, telecom gear, and defense and medical electronics. Electronics is now among India's top three export industries.
