Sharing the highlights of his trip, Tendulkar extended a warm invitation to the world to discover the enchanting beauty of this esteemed region, often regarded as one of the many treasures of India.
Taking to Instagram, Tendulkar unveiled a mesmerizing video encapsulating his entire Kashmir escapade. The video, titled "Top moments from my Kashmir trip," beautifully chronicles his experiences, from temple visits and interactions with Kashmiri willow bat manufacturers to leisurely breaks at local tea shops and cherished encounters with locals amidst snowfall, including a meeting with armless wrestler Amir Hussain Lone.
Reflecting on his memorable experience, Tendulkar expressed gratitude for the exceptional hospitality extended by the people of Jammu and Kashmir, despite the snowy backdrop. Highlighting the craftsmanship of Kashmiri willow bats as a shining example of 'Make in India', Tendulkar visited the MJ cricket bat manufacture factory in the Chersoo area of Awantipora. Owned by brothers Manzoor Ahmad and Javaid Ahmad, the factory symbolizes the global recognition achieved by these locally crafted bats.
In a heartfelt message, Tendulkar urged people worldwide, as well as within India, to embrace the opportunity to explore Jammu & Kashmir, a gem nestled within the vibrant tapestry of Incredible India.
During his sojourn, Tendulkar also savored three days at the picturesque Gulmarg ski resort, where the pristine beauty of nature welcomed him and his family with fresh layers of snow. Sharing glimpses of his adventures on social media, Tendulkar provided a captivating insight into his delightful shikara ride on the breathtaking Dal Lake, showcasing the allure of Kashmir's serene waterscapes.
