Aamir Khan Opens Up About New Romance with Gauri Spratt: Is Four Months Too Soon for Marriage?

Speaking to Raj Shamani on his podcast, Aamir was questioned about whether he would marry someone he'd only known for a few months these days.

Aamir Khan recently looked back at his marriage to Reena Dutta following a four-month relationship, confessing it perhaps wasn't the smartest move.

Speaking to Raj Shamani on his podcast, Aamir was questioned about whether he would marry someone he'd only known for a few months these days.

Citing his own development and experiences, the actor stated that therapy has made him more attuned to possible "red flags" in individuals.

Now in a relationship with Gauri Spratt, Aamir revealed how his outlook on relationships has changed considerably since he was young. He said, "Aaj jab main dekhta hoon mujhe lagta hai yaar, 'Aaj ki date mein main agar kisiso milun, 4 mahine mein shaadi ka decision le sakta hoon'? Nahi. Zindagi bhar iske saath guzaarna hai," about how the kind of decision seems too hasty now.

Elaborating, Aamir explained that therapy has been a life-altering part of his process of self-discovery. "Us waqt main therapy bhi nahi karta tha. Aaj kal kyuki main therapy leta hoon toh self reflection ka mujhe mauka mila hai, samajh mein aaya hai, apne aap ko main samajh paya hoon. Red flags mujhe bohut jaldi dikhte hai abhi," he elucidated, emphasizing the need for introspection in identifying compatibility as well as picking up on emotional signs.

In March, during the celebration of his 60th birthday, Aamir formally introduced Gauri to the media in Mumbai. The couple was spotted attending several public events since the news of their relationship broke out.
