4th Test: India crumble to 122/6 against relentless England seamers
India, who lost three wickets in the first session, lost three more in the second session. Ravindra Jadeja, promoted to No. 5, was out in the slips off the bowling of Chris Woakes for 10. Then, skipper Virat Kohli, who looked the best of the Indian batsmen, was caught behind off Ollie Robinson for 50. This was Kohli's 27th Test half-century and comprised eight fours.
4th Test: England pacers blow away top three of India's batting
The Indian openers started well to reach 28/0 in first seven overs, especially with K.L. Rahul playing some lovely drives. But Chris Woakes, introduced in the ninth over, dismissed Rohit Sharma (11) with an absolute peach of a delivery. Nipping off the pitch with extra bounce from short of length, Woakes forced Sharma to play at it. The ball took the outer edge of the shoulder of the bat to wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow.
India leave out R Ashwin once again
What makes the decision surprising is that England have four left-handers in their line-up -- including three who are known for their batting. Ashwin has an impeccable record against left-handers. Out of the 413 Test wickets he has taken, 211 are left-handers. "They are not playing an extra batsman. They are playing five bowlers and still not playing R Ashwin. That is surprising," said former India pace bowler Ajit Agarkar.

Jonny Bairstow needs to deliver with big innings: Hussain
Bairstow has been assigned wicket-keeping duties for the fourth Test against India at The Oval. He comes in absence of Jos Buttler, who is unavailable due to the birth of his second child. Jakhar came up with a superb performance in the rapid section of the qualifying stage to finish with a score of 576. In the final, he survived the first elimination round as Ukraine's Iryna Liakhu was eliminated in a shootout with China's Yang Chao. Ashwin, Jadeja could play if it is regular Oval pitch: Bharat Arun
"It was just a very, very normal precautionary scan that he went through. All he had to do was to wear the hospital dress and he took a picture of that and that created a big scam. There is nothing to it and Jadeja is absolutely fit," said Arun to the media on the eve of the fourth Test which begins at The Oval on Thursday. Arun did not rule out the possibility of playing both Ashwin and Jadeja. He said that the team management will look at the pitch before deciding on it.
