Shaw, Yadav join team after completing quarantine

"Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav have completed their quarantine period and have joined the team at Lord's," said a statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Shaw and Yadav were called up to the Indian squad following injuries to opener Shubman Gill, pacer Avesh Khan and spin-bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar. The three have returned home. Shaw and Yadav left for England a day before the first Test started last week.

Pictures of Rahul standing close to the boundary line and surrounded by bottle corks on the field emerged on social media as the first session drew to a close. According to reports coming in from Lord's, the Indian players have complained to the umpires about the crowd's behavior. The 29-year-old Karnataka batsman had also scored 84 in the first innings of the first Test at Trent Bridge last week.
