Himachal, Tamil Nadu enter Vijay Hazare Trophy final
Skipper Rishi Dhawan and Akash Vasisht's brilliant all-around performances helped Himachal Pradesh reach their maiden Vijay Hazare Trophy final berth as they beat Services by 77 runs in the first semi-final at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here. The duo put on an all-important 83-run partnership for the sixth wicket, making 84 and an unbeaten 45 respectively, to propel Himachal's total to a competitive 281/6.
Harbhajan Singh retires from all forms of cricket
Veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Friday. The 41-year old represented India in 103 Tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20Is, picking up 417, 269 and 25 wickets respectively, and he was also a handy contributor with the bat, scoring 3,569 runs with two centuries and nine fifties.
