With a career-best rating of 705 points, Muzarabani was the second Zimbabwean bowler to break the 700-point barrier in Test cricket, an amazing achievement that places him among the top-ranked bowlers. His performance pushed him four places up to 15th in the latest ICC Test bowling rankings, with India's Jasprit Bumrah holding on to the top spot.

In the second Zimbabwe highlight, left-arm spinner Wellington Masakadza made a return to Test cricket after more than two years in style. Masakadza claimed five wickets in the Sylhet Test, returning to the Test bowling rankings to joint 68th place.

But the Sylhet Test was not Zimbabwe one-sidedly dominated. For all their defeat, some Bangladesh players saw rises in the ranks. Seasoned off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who took 10 wickets in both the innings, moved up four places to 26th in Test bowling rankings.

Bangladesh's opener batsmen also enjoyed good increments. Mominul Haque's consistent 56 and 47 helped him make a five-spot jump to 48th in Test batting rankings. Young batter Jaker Ali moved up by a huge 10 spots to 50th after his second-innings fifty. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, with his 40 and 60, also made a four-spot jump to 53rd, continuing his consistent run.

Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett, with his impressive twin half-centuries, broke into the top 100, entering at 90th place. His ability to play long innings under pressure, especially against quality spin and pace, made him one of Zimbabwe’s standout players in the series.

England's Joe Root remains at the top of the Test batting rankings, holding 895 points to his name.
