Apple has recorded a record quarterly expansion for the January-March quarter in several nations and regions of the world, including India, where the technology company has increased local production significantly along with increasing exports.
Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook further added, "In retail, apart from the two stores that we opened during the quarter, we are also looking forward to a new retail store in the UAE, opening of the online store in Saudi Arabia, and new retail stores in India later this year."
On the software front, Apple has just rolled out iOS 18.4, which had extended Apple Intelligence to several new languages such as French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese, as well as providing localized English versions for Singapore and India.
Apple's overall quarterly revenue was \\\$95.4 billion, a 5 percent year-over-year increase, with quarterly diluted earnings per share rising 8 percent to \\\$1.65. Cook said, "Apple is reporting strong quarterly results, including double-digit growth in Services.".

We were also pleased to share that we've cut our carbon emissions by 60 percent during the past decade," Cook further added.
India's smartphone exports reached a record high of Rs 2 lakh crore, marking a significant shift in the direction of electronics production in India. Apple has been a major catalyst of change, accounting for the lion's share of India's smartphone exports, with iPhones contributing to nearly 70 percent of total shipments. In addition, the Indian App Store economy generated Rs 44,447 crore (News in Numbers: $5.31 billion) in developer billings and sales in 2024, according to a new Apple report.
