Om Prakash Rajbhar, the president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) and a Minister in Uttar Pradesh, has made accusations against Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, alleging that Yadav has intentionally driven away potential allies to benefit the BJP.
Rajbhar made these remarks during an interaction with journalists at his residence, asserting that Akhilesh Yadav had urged all his allies to align themselves with the BJP instead. According to Rajbhar, Yadav's message to his allies was clear: "If you remain here, there will be conflict."
Highlighting the broader political landscape, Rajbhar noted that across the nation, various parties are gearing up for elections. He referenced his previous prediction made seven months earlier, suggesting that certain elements within the opposition would facilitate Narendra Modi's return as Prime Minister, while others would step aside. Rajbhar cited examples such as Nitish Kumar, Jayant Chaudhary, and Mamata Banerjee, suggesting that Akhilesh Yadav is now following suit.
Rajbhar further claimed that Akhilesh Yadav has systematically sidelined numerous allies, signaling a concerted effort to assist the BJP. According to Rajbhar, Yadav's message to potential allies is to align with the BJP for an easy victory, while warning of conflict if they choose otherwise. Rajbhar interpreted these actions as a strategy by Akhilesh Yadav to protect himself.
In addition, Rajbhar commented on the perceived increased activity of enforcement agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), suggesting that they now operate more freely within the boundaries of the Constitution. He observed that while these agencies conduct their duties, opposition figures raise objections.
Overall, Rajbhar's statements underscore a narrative of political maneuvering and shifting alliances, with implications for the upcoming political landscape in Uttar Pradesh and beyond.
