AAP member and wife of Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Sunita Kejriwal, has been granted a visit to the jail today at 12:30 pm to meet with her husband, the party announced on Monday. She is going to be accompanied by the Delhi cabinet minister Atishi who is going to be present at the meeting with the chief minister.
This has come after several allegations by AAP on Sunday that prison authorities had refused to grant permission for Sunita Kejriwal to visit her husband. However, these have been denied by the prison authorities.
Besides, it has also been revealed that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is to visit Kejriwal on Tuesday for more political engagements amid the current state of affairs.
