Sangeet Som Condemns Akhilesh Yadav as 'Babur Ki Aulad', Warns of Consequences for Insulting Maharana Pratap

Som didn't beat around the bush. He called SP chief Akhilesh Yadav 'Babur Ki Aulad' and accused him of leading his followers to desecrate the statue of Maharana Pratap, an act that would be unacceptable and intolerable. He made it clear that the same would not go unpunished, adding that the 'Babur Ki Aulad' and his party would suffer at the hands of the ballot box.

In this regard, former BJP lawmaker Sangeet Som deeply condemned and decried the disrespect shown by Akhilesh Yadav and his activists towards the revered Indian hero, Maharana Pratap. Som, on behalf of the Kshatriya community, made it very clear that the ongoing Lok Sabha elections will be used to teach the Samajwadi Party a lesson for doing so.

The former legislator underlined the unity of the Kshatriya community and the unflinching support of the traditionalists of the region, warning Akhilesh Yadav and his party that forgiveness would not be spared. Instead, they would be taught a lesson in the forthcoming phases of the Lok Sabha polls.

After the incident, around 100 Samajwadi Party members were taken to court for the disruption they had caused during the recent Mainpuri roadshow supporting Akhilesh Yadav's wife, Dimple Yadav, who is contesting from the Manipur Lok Sabha constituency. More than that, three people were reportedly nabbed for climbing and disrespecting Maharana Pratap's statue during the event, as shown in the video footage.
