"Twenty-five years ago, under Atal Ji's leadership, India conducted nuclear tests in Pokhran, showcasing our strength to the world. Despite our demonstration of capability, the Congress persists in instilling fear by highlighting Pakistan's possession of nuclear arms," stated PM Modi during an election rally in Odisha's Kandhamal.

In critique of the Congress party's stance, he remarked, "They continuously attempt to intimidate us, citing Pakistan's nuclear arsenal. However, Pakistan grapples with its own challenges, even resorting to attempting to sell their weapons, albeit with little interest due to their substandard quality."
