Defense Minister Rajnath Singh asserted on Friday that the fate of the Congress party resembles that of the dinosaur - headed towards extinction within a few short years. Drawing parallels to the internal strife within the Congress, the senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader likened it to the chaotic environment of the reality television show "Bigg Boss," where party members engage in daily skirmishes.
Singh highlighted the ongoing exodus of leaders from the Congress, emphasizing their seamless transition into the BJP ranks. Expressing concern over the party's dwindling strength, Singh painted a picture of a future where mentioning the Congress post-2024 would evoke puzzled inquiries from the younger generation.
Speaking at a rally in Uttarakhand's Gauchar in support of Anil Baluni, the BJP candidate for the Pauri seat in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Singh remarked on the continuous internal discord within the Congress. He vividly compared it to the volatile atmosphere of "Bigg Boss," where conflicts among contestants unfold publicly and frequently escalate to the point of tearing each other's clothes.
