Speaking at a gathering in Sitamarhi, Bihar, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh asserted on Wednesday that the NDA government at the Centre remains untainted by corruption allegations, a feat unmatched globally.

Singh emphasized the contrast with previous administrations, particularly the Congress rule, which faced numerous corruption accusations. He underlined the trust placed in the Narendra Modi-led government by the people of India, emphasizing their expectation of integrity and accountability.

Addressing the common practice of political parties making grand promises during elections, Singh highlighted the BJP's commitment to realistic pledges. He stressed that the BJP refrains from making unattainable promises, ensuring that every commitment made in their manifestos is fulfilled, as evidenced by their records in 2014 and 2019.

During his visit to Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, and Siwan, Singh convened a meeting with party leaders from the Siwan, Gopalganj, Chapra, and Maharajganj Lok Sabha constituencies. The discussions centered on the BJP's strategies for the forthcoming general elections, reaffirming the party's dedication to serving the nation with transparency and accountability.
