Ahead of the forthcoming general elections, Ritesh Pandey, the Lok Sabha MP representing Ambedkar Nagar for the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), has made a significant political move by resigning from the party and joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in New Delhi.

In his formal resignation letter addressed to BSP President Mayawati, Pandey expressed his disillusionment with the party, citing a lack of engagement and communication from the leadership. He emphasized that despite his efforts to connect with Mayawati and other senior party members, his attempts remained unanswered, leading him to believe that his services were no longer valued within the party.

Pandey highlighted his continued involvement in constituency affairs and interactions with supporters of other political parties as indicators of his diminishing relevance within the BSP. Consequently, he concluded that resigning from the party's primary membership was the only viable course of action.

Acknowledging the emotional weight of his decision, Pandey urged Mayawati to accept his resignation, signaling a definitive break from his longstanding association with the BSP.
