PM Modi's Assertive Message to INDIA Bloc in Rajya Sabha: A Decade Down, Two to Go

PM Narendra Modi, during his reply to the Motion of Thanks on the President's address in the Rajya Sabha, made it crystal clear that it was his government's strong commitment and will to take the country to even greater heights in its third consecutive term. Equally, he also took a swipe at the Congress-led Opposition.

As PM Modi began his speech, he drew attention to the fact that this is the first time ever that the NDA has won for a third consecutive time. He pointed out how the 2024 election results had left some people perplexed while others resorted to a defamatory campaign.

"In the last few days, it seems that some aggrieved parties have relived the experience of what happened 60 years ago," said PM Modi.

He took the attack on the Congress-headed INDIA bloc a step further, where he scoffed at their 'terahviar sarkar' slogan and reiterated that people have given the mandate rightfully.

"Ten years in power have been completed, and twenty more lie ahead," PM Modi pointedly remarked in response to a reference by a Congress MP.

PM Modi thanked the electorate for giving an "unequivocal mandate" to the BJP-led NDA and said they opted for welfare over the Congress party's divisive agenda.

"People of our country have opted for vikas over vindictive politics; trust has been placed on that party which works on their welfare and rejected those who survive on lies," PM Modi declared amidst loud objections from opposition benches.

In this backdrop of the journey of this parliamentary democracy, PM Modi, with all humility expressed his gratefulness for providing an opportunity to people, the NDA government for a 'third time in a row', assuring their potential leverage in realizing visions of 'Viksit Bharat' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'.
